Denver Light Rail: Welton Street Station Plaza
Denver's light rail newtork is growing and changing both the way the city is organized and how people move within it. Many of these recently implemented light rail station stops have become hubs for social and cultural activity with a broad mix of land uses and development.
This project focused on the redevelopment and design the station at Welton Street and Broadway in Central downtown Denver. The Landscape design aims to create a comfortable social gathering space with outdoor theatre, weekend mall, and market opportunites. The aesthetic aims to fuse the adjacent commercial, office, and multi-density residential uses.
