Denver Urban Design: Mixed-Use TOD
This project focuses on a large brownfield site at the southern fringe of Denver. Centering around the Santa Fe light rail station and abutting the banks of the South Platte River, this very large site offers promise for a walkable TOD community minutes from downtown.
Project highlights include identification of new BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) as well as a main TOD (Transit Oriented Development) hub around the existing Santa Fe stop. Affordable housing, employment, and entertainment uses were carefully planned and located within the site.
