I-25 Gateway Regional Master Plan
The I-25 Northern Gateway project focuses on the long range planning of a number of highly contentious adjacent properties along a 2 mile stretch of well-travelled highway. Additionally, the project study area serves as a visual and political buffer between the booming town of Fort Collins and burgeoning rural community of Timnath.
The planning and design aims to identify and preserve vital natural resources while balancing the necessity of physical real estate development with minimal impact. The final design emphasizes realistic and adaptive solutions for public transportation, agriculture, public open space, and neighborhood development.
